The Jingle Kings

About (Biography)

Bob and Donna Brown, the Jingle King (and Queen!) are seasoned veterans of show business.
Bob grew up in the Seattle area, and after high school attended prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass. An Arranging and Composition major, he studied with the iconic John La Porta, Chairman of the Instrumental Performance Department at Berklee.
Upon leaving Berklee, Bob became "Sideman to the Stars," performing with Bobby Vinton, the Kirby Stone Four, Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr., Kenny Rogers, Jim Nabors, Jim Stafford, and many others. He made the Palm Springs California area his home in the 1980's, and built B & D Productions, a ProTools-based production facility featuring vintage mics, Yamaha NS10m monitor speakers, and racks and racks of outboard gear.
Donna Brown studied Music Composition and Songwriting at UCLA and is a talented composer and studio vocalist with hundreds of jingles to her credit. She has performed with the great luminaries of show business and continues to be in great demand for difficult solo vocal work.

Jingles are one of the most important advertising tools available. We can all sing the Coke jingles we heard as children, and the Winston Cigarette jingle still resonates in the minds of anyone past the age of 50, even though it has not been performed anywhere since the 1960's.
